Window Vista upgrade, failed??? HELP???

Hey, I have a genuine Vista Premium installed in my PC ~

I have tried updating the Microsoft updates and Vista updates all night, but it keeps failing. The files are downloaded, but after restart - it indicates that the update failed?

What might cause this? What can I do?

Just throwing this out there - but have you disabled the feature where it prompts you to ask for permission to install anything?

I found that when it was disabled (UAC or something like that), a lot of programs refused to install....might be the culprit...

I didn't disable anything, I still get the prompts to update, when I do everthing is fine until the PC is restarted, then it indicates that the update failed.....

still lost need help!

Have you tried calling Microsoft?

called Sony and Microsoft and they both have no idea.....

Ultimately, I search the net/forums and read about various problems and matched up with my problem...

RE: update file KB935807 is a corrupt file...

Ignored that update and now everything is fine~~
