Wow it's Vista Ready too! I can't wait to run Vista on a VIA processor, with 256 MB of RAM, a 40 GB Hard drive and a 3-cell battery lol

It's not a bad low-power box. For $500 you can get an entry level Dell instead...

My post had a point; the other guys did not. I was implying that its not a "moder powerhouse" of a computer, not even a low end machine. Thats a fact. I'm sorry that you are unable to read between the lines.

So your telling me that a laptop with 256mb ram, 40GB hd, 3 cell battery, VIA CPU, is not a low end laptop?

I never said that. It definitely doesn't have enough RAM, and the hard drive could be bigger. It's just a cheap bare-bones model built up by a local retailer. Some Lenovo Thinkpads come with four-cell batteries nowadays. Like I said, about $500 (though closer to $600) can get you a bare-bones Dell model.
Just drop the attitude.
