I havent had a chance to see either but I want to. I really like Penn and Teller but Danny Gans has been around for a long time. That's a real tough one but P&T will (I imagine) be more fast pasted than Danny Gans. It's really a flip of a coin and what kind of deal you can get on tickets.

I haven't seen either either  ... talked to an old guy who seemed to have seen every show in town he said Gans is all hype. Cab driver told me P&T haven't been funny since the first year they played there.:| Local lady told me the show at the Riv with the female impersonators is good. :|

There you go....go see something else then. The jury is out on who to see. Mac King is a favorite and you can often get freebie or close to freebie tickets to see him. Everyone likes Mac.
I just remembered, a few months ago Leno had on his show all the major acts in Vegas during the week. I only caught the one with Lance Burton and Carrot Top. I didnt care for Carrot Top.

Haven't seen Gans, but loved P&T. Depends on whether you want your magic old school, or postmodern.

Thanks for the advice guys :)
I got a question about Penn & Teller, do you know what the age restriction is for that show? What I'm trying to say is, how suitable is the content of the show for younger viewers (under 18s). Thanks once again.

This is from Harrahs' website: Edgy, provocative and hilarious, this iconoclastic pair’s live show on any given night can involve knives, guns, a fire-eating showgirl and a duck. Known as the "Bad Boys of Magic," for supposedly revealing the secrets to their tricks, they may show you how itīs done, but they still manage to leave you startled.

From Tripadvisor:
We have seen Penn & Teller many times on TV and really looked forward to seeing them. We got very good seats way ahead of time because we wanted to see them so much. At the theater, the facilities are excellent for everyone.
The show was a big disappointment. Unfortunately, Penn rambles on and on, and is quite vulgar about things. He punctuates everything he says with "Jesus Christ", "********" or other offensive commentary. We were very turned off by his rhetoric.
Penn also talks so much that when you leave, you think you have only seen a half dozen illusions. When they do something it is very impressive, but there there seems so little performance because of all the talking by Penn.
This is definitely not a family show. If you want a really enjoyable family show, be sure to take in the Mac King magic show at Harrah's.

P&T was great when I was there over New Years. You also get to meet them after the show to take pictures and get autographs :cheesygri
