Insurance for 1 month

I need a company that will insure my car for 1 month until my belair comes through. Any suggestions?

i think your best best would just be to go with any company and cancel after a month, i'm pretty sure no company has policies for only 1 month

you may have to pay some cancellation charges...why doesn't your belairdirect come through sooner?

This makes no sense. Since when do you have to wait for a vehicle insurance policy to come through? You tell them when you want it and that is it. It is in effect as soon as you sign the dotted line or make the payment. I don't think anyone will give you only one month of car insurance.

yes i agree, it only took 2 days for my bel air direct to come through. Is there a reason you have to be held up a month until you get insurance?

If you get a policy and cancel within a month you will lose almost 50% of the money you paid. The claim is that the first 50% is administration fees anyway.

Belair told me it would take two weeks to process my application. I asked about this twice (two different agents), and both said it would take two weeks. One agent suggested I look for someone to insure me temporarily, which is what I am doing. Local insurance brokers couldn't help me. I don't really want to go without my car for two+ weeks, but belair is quoting me a couple of thousand less than cooperators.
