just bought a car. has paint on the chrome trim that is peeling off a lil, was wondering if there is an easy and economical way i can strip it off myself.

I saw on Myth Busters that they used a crumpled piece of aluminum and a can of coke. They said that it doesn't work as well as the myth describes, but it does work equivalent to some of the industrial cleaners on the market. It's a cheap thing you can try before spending any money. You probably have a can of pop and a roll of aluminum tin foil in the kitchen anyways.:D

i believe a cloth with some acetone can do it, though you should be wary as acetone is a paint stripper and can hurt your paint job
