View Full Version : Question about Bodyshop in Vancouver doing paint job

I just bought a spoiler for my ride. I need to paint match to my car. I could bring it back to my dealer's body shop but it costs $180. Too much for a paint job IMO. It is a hatchback roof lip spoiler. My dealer also suggests me to go to other body shop to have it painted as the price might be more flexible . All they need is the color code. Is there any reliable body shop in Vancouver that does a good job with reasonable price? That brings me to another question.
Is it possible for them to perfect match the paint of the car even with metallic paint? I know the color code of my car.
Any suggestion/recommendation?

my friend just got her IS300 fixed up @ First Class Autobody in Port Moody
they did a very very good job matching the paint (pearl white) that is hard to match
it was indeed first class service

hmm... thanks for the suggestion but that's too far for me. Anyone else from Vancouver or Richmond? My dealer says the paint job will cost $180.

Anyone heard of or used http://stavrosautobody.com/ before? I called a few body shops and this one is the most useful and friendly one so I am leaning toward this.

You are asking for good and cheap. They are mutually exclusive. A very good one is Korva collision on w. 2nd. Can't recommend any cheap ones.

I have heard good things about Korva. Anyone used them? Does it take a long time to get an appointment? Were you happy with the paint match/attention to detail?
