I have a interview tomorrow at Futureshop. I was just wondering if any of you guys had any experiences working there or how the interview was like. Like what kind of questions they asked and the general feel of the interview.
I applied for the positions of sales associate / cashier and merchandiser.
Which one would be a better choice? ANd how much should i expect the pay to be

I recall that futureshop has commission.
Definitely sales if that is true.

Emphasize that you are customer oriented, if you have sales experience, make sure you talk about it.
Pay is around $9-$10/hour, maybe more depending on your experience. If you work in sales, or any position where you will sell service plans, you can make something like 12% on every one of those. If you're good, you can make a fair bit of money.

Min. Base + Commission.
Commission makes futureshop worth working for...

I think you should dress more formal. Considering their employees wear dress pants and buttoned up shirts, one employee might mistaken you as a potential customer;)

Jeans are never considered formal. Try to get a look at the manager, wear the same level formality. Probably either khakis/dress pants + dress shirt, tie wouldn't really be needed.

Khakis/dress pants and a polo will do. Avoid jeans and a t-shirt, too casual.
