Hey guys,

I am looking to buy a used Lexus from an independent owner. I need your help in deciding whether it is a good deal or not. Here are the details:

2006 Lexus IS250
- Base Model
- 37,000km
- extra set of snow tires and rims

- Lease Takeover = $32,000
- owner pays $3000 and paper work fees
- I pay $29,000

Is this worth it providing everything is good with the car? any advice?

Thanks!

are you performing a lease takeover or a lease buyout? The car isn't bad, it has nice looks and is a good deal at that price. Though it wouldn't hurt to check up on it with carfax or that ontario used car package.

i would be doing a lease buyout. the car would be completely mine.

Having an extra set of winter rims and tires is a big plus, especially if they bought an extra set of TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors (which cost > $400 at the dealer). If you don't have these sensors installed, it will throw annoying warnings on the dash.
