How slow is Dell to bill?

I ordered a ASUS PDA from them on June 9th during a sale and paid with my CC online. However it was backordered and they had to get more from the manufacturer, so it shipped on July 9th and I recieved it yesterday. Now the funny thing is that throughout this time Dell never billed me, and they still have not even after i recieved it. So are they just really slow, or did they screwup and i'm getting this for free?! :lol:

Dell's policy is billing at shipping point but ordering from them as often as i have, i notice you generally get the bill within 1 week of receiving the item.

I ordered Sony's BT headset a while ago and it was backordered 1 month. I got my bill 2 days after i received the headset so you will not be getting it free.

Can't remember exactly offhand, but when ordering from Dell, I've been billed as late as a week or two after shipping. My brief glimmer of hope of getting a free laptop was quickly dashed. ;)

Yes, when I ordered during the 640m deal, it took many weeks to post and I ended up missing my CT 5% mastercard cut off :mad:
