I did a ba; psych and crim in 2000

but i had a record form 10 years ealier

a few year ago i got a pardon

but im still unable to land a job in my field

So im thinking about going into a tech job: ultra sound , lab, or radiology or smilar

Just wondering if i can do that with a pardon. I have volunteered with kids since. Got a gun licence and have done crim record checks for jobs--all with no problems

can i go into these areas ? or any prof job ?

Well you aren't required to tell employers about pardoned offenses, and employers may not legally ask you if you've been convicted of offenses for which you have received a pardon.

The standard question is, "have you been convicted of any criminal offense for which you have not been pardoned".

You may have to disclose such a conviction if you were joining, say, the Law Society of Upper Canada, or other similar professional organizations, but offenses in the very distant past are often reviewed by these organizations and membership allowed.

Not going to help if your email address is linked to your RFD profile... they would find out by googling you...

You should try to erase any way they can find out about it..

And if i want to change careers i have to do the same so i dont waste more time and money

So i was thinking of going into a hospital tech job and asked all the schools and regions across canada about there policy

I should have used my hotmail ie..nago55@hotmail.com is better than my own ?

all he was saying was that if you have references on the web linked to your real name, remove them.
