I'm planning to get a car so I went on Leasebuster and i found this. I can't believe Subaru's resale value is this bad. I believe it starts from 40k.

After I do the calculation the price for this car the total is $24823 (733 x 13 - 1500 + 14732 x 1.14 = $24823)

Is this a fair value?

My other choice is RSX Type-S. It's resale value is really good. The price on autotrader is hovering between 20k-25k for 04'-06' with reasonable mileage.

why would anyone take over a lease that just started 9month ago is beyond me, i would have paid $1500 more and got one brand new.

I would only take leases with short time left or with high cash incentive, there was a CSX couple of weeks ago with $2500 and 8month left, i went to check it out with a paint meter and found out its been in a accident, which the owner "forgot" to mention :|

that Legacy GT only have 13 month left. Where do you see 9 month into the leasing period? What's a paint meter BTW?

Mileage is pretty high for a 05, might want to check its service record, but other than that, the price is about right comparing to trader.
