Starting this coming school year calculus has been split apart into.. Advanced functions (prerequisite) and calculus and vectors(something like that XD).. does anyone know the text for the advanced functions course/ Calculus and vectors?.

Chances are, they will use the two old textbooks and teach from both... I doubt most schools will buy new books right away

IIRC, the school may use the regular calculus book by McGraw Hill Ryerson since a good chunk, if not the majority of it was advanced functions.

AFAIK new textbooks won't be available until 08-09. They'll be using the old textbooks this year.

I have a annoying tutor who wants me to learn during the summer.. and it isnt as bad as it sounds.. basicly he comes 2 times a week for 1 hour teaches me the lesson and gives some homework.. I basicly still have a normal summer just doing some work at night sometimes.. and I dont want to screw up grade 12..
