Of course you can simply tune in to CTV, BUT if you are a hardcore fan of any particular artist, make sure you switch to respective channel for that concert:

MuchMoreMusic: Sydney & London

Download on BitTorrent the day after is basically a given, HD might be a bit tougher.
I'm glad to see the separate concerts as that was one of the main things I found wrong with Live 8, I could only watch what they wanted me to watch. This way you can watch any concert you want (except for the Antarctica one :() Plus CTV still has the highlights feed for anyone who only wants to see the highlights.
I assume my time will probably be spent on MuchMusic for the Tokyo one and then probably download any others I want to see.

So anyone watching? Australia is on MuchMoreMusic right now, and random segments from MTV/MuchMusic hosts on CTV-HD

Well, CTV didn't own all the CHUM affiliates in 2005, so individual simulcasts weren't possible.
I don't know, I was more into the Live 8 cause than the current Live Earth campaign. (The broader diversity of performers also helped) Live 8 actually worked to some degree by inducing the G8 powers to drop $50 Bn in debt to African LDCs. I'm still trying to see how Live Earth will induce positive action, especially in the major industrialized nations given their reluctance to meet most greenhouse benchmarks.

Al Gore as a hologram in Tokyo, cool. Now if they could only make Jessica Alba appear in my bedroom that'd be awesome.

London usually has an embarrassment of riches for these global concerts.
Barrie Live 8 was just an embarrassment on a lineup...lol.

Just watched Metallica. Very good. As were RHCP.

I didn't realize when concerts were starting.. Could have watched some when I got home last night. Just watching some stuff online right now. The webstream for Germany is covered up by this big text message that says "PASS IT ON , TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT LIVE EARTH" ,etc..
How lame.. also, the artist information on that page where it is streaming from is wrong. I think it is Linkin Park now and it says another artist is playing. -
EDIT - Okay... I guess the Germany feed was just playing back something that was recorded in Japan during a break that is why it showed like that..
Why didn't we get a Live Earth concert! Al Gore doesn't like us?? ;)

To be honest, from Live Aid BARRIE (NOT Toronto), you can tell that Canada does not deserve it.

I thought it was weird seeing the MTV and Muchmusic guys working together. I'm pretty sure they are all fighting for their jobs over there cause there is no way the Corporate people are going to keep all the on air talent

Just saw the Genesis performance (3 songs, one a medley) at the concert at Wembley.
Wow is all I have to say - they've still got it.
I saw them once in concert in 1981 and they are know as one of the few bands that are actually better live.
