Chococrazy and Cyanne as a team for informing us of the many SDM referral events and then spending countless hours to coordinate and add each of us as referrals. They also created a very helpful FAQs, answered questions posted in the threads and spent time on improving the procedures for adding us in as referrals (use of MSN messenger and before that, using another poster's help to easily determine who was online on RFD to speed up the process). They also accumulated statistics on who joined and spent money plus gave advice to those who didn't receive their referral points.

I first joined the SDM referral event last year and easily got the maximum 100,000 optimum points!! That's a lot of free spending!

Anyone who buys a car in the US will save THOUSANDS.

The thread is so valuable that the press is now following it. It's been reported on many newscasts. The word of mouth spreads quickly when the savings are real. There's no coupon or expiry date. No hidden charges or gimmicks.

In reality, the savings that you get by buying a single vehicle in the US is probably saving RFDers more cash that combining all the other deals on this site.

I've received emails of people saving $30,000 or more. I personally saved $17,000.

Those are truly staggering numbers.

If anyone follows the thread I started on importing cars from the US already know that anyone who buys a car from the US is automatically part of the (my self-sanctioned) RFD SUPER SAVERS CLUB! .

I would have to go with either of these 2 threads right here: Choco & Cyanne's SDM chains, for how organized they were, personal impact & huge personal savings, who would have ever thought it'd be so difficult to blow $400+ @ SDM?...I'm still using stuff I bought in Dec. 06....Go Figure.....
