Should I contact the Hiring Manager again ?

I applied to a job last month (first week) and after a couple of emails back and forth the Hiring Manager said he'll get in touch with me when the job request is officially open sometime during first week of July (I have an internal contact) ...

so do I email him again now considering its been over a month and he might have forgotten about it ??

Yes by all means, ask him in a polite way if he has made any final decision

At the very least, it won't leave you hanging and you can focus on getting something else if this one doesn't pan out.
