traffic ticket

Hi,

I just got a ticket for making a left during a time I shouldn't.
I have 3 options.

1.Plea of guilty
2.Plead guilty with explaination
3.Trial option

Which is the best to do? I don't want to lose any demerit points. Please steer me the right way.
