I'm looking to buy some electronics from that site, even though the s&h costs are $70 USD for a $250 USD subtotal, the total with our high canadian dollar would still be less expensive that purchasing from any merchant in Canada.
I'm sure there are people who purchased from them, how was your experience? Did you get nailed with custom and duty taxes?
I know they use UPS Express, so brokerage fees are included in the S&H fees.
TIA

just 14% GST+PST, no custom duties.
they can combine shipping for multiple items, in my case it saved me $23 on the second item.

Hi,

I've purchased from JR.com. They are very reliable. I believe I paid around $20CDN on custom and taxes on a $50USD item.

They ship UPS. I would avoid them. Even with Express, Iv had problems with UPS. Maybe its just me.

I think you may have just had a bad experience with UPS.

I have used UPS 23 times since November of last year and haven't had one issue to date other than a couple of so-called 'weather delayed' shipments.

They are a reputable company.
But when I ordered, I got my Aunt in the states to Order for me, then when I went to visit her I would pick up the package.

In terms of the Company: it is good + reliable + safe.
In terms of Shipping: Can't help sorry!
