OK, i don't wanna say the product name, just say PDA here, and the price i used here are just examples.

the US site, the price is say $399
the ca site, the price is say CAD$590

so i call US site, the 1-888 number, and ask them if they can ship to CANADA, the girl transfer me to canada site, and i repeat the question, they they transfer me to another department, and i repeat the question, the guy said u can order from US, but they might not ship to Canada, and he ask me the details of the product, so i said. and he ask me the US site price, i told him. he then put me on hold, and 2 minutes later, he give me the CAD$409 for that product. i paid by Credit card.

DONE.

thanks DELL.:arrowu:

any other questions?

Hard to believe without some sort of proof instead of a "let's say" scenario with a vague product.

Either you got really lucky, or this is totally fabricated for attention.

Why would the US rep not just advise you that the same product can be purchased in Canada, instead of trying to get it from the US?

Currency conversion: $399USD = $426.414 CAD, how'd u get it for $409? how'd was it calculated?

Hey guys, i just did this 10 minutes ago!

why you don't believe it? have you tried yourself?

the US girl, transfer me to canada site, that's what she did. don't ask me why.

the 409 price is what they gave to me? i didn't say its the currency related anything!

anyway, it's just what i just did.

proof, how can i give you the prove? how. i haven't got the product yet, just an order number. that's it.

All they did was cut you a deal on the axim... there have been two sales in recent memory for $360ish. $409 is a good deal on an anytime price, but you can't really say that Dell will pm the .com site. (it is common to negotiate a deal over the phone with Dell)

Edit: Holy crap, this is my 1000th post... I normally don't notice but the extra digit stands out

i agree with you, but you won't got the lower price without "PM" with their US site.

wait a minute . . . don't they build the canadian computers, and the american computers from the same plant in texas? Maybe the price differences going on are the price differences in free shipping, customs, taxes, etc.
