I'm looking at buying the Logitech X-230 speakers, and CC's price is 43.99, while FS's price is 77.99 and Staples is 74.30.
I just want to know whether FS or Staples will beat CC's price making the price ~40$. The speakers are retail box and all at CC.
Here are the links.

Although FS has a price match policy, it's a joke. They've been unable to match other's price for me before.
Try BB, they are much better. They did match price for me couple of times.
I'll just go ahead and get that from CC. The 10% or something is not much of a difference anyway.

Yeah ok, the FS is more on the way for me, so I would have prefered that, but thanks guys!

Maybe. It depends on the store you are at, who is helping you, the mood they are in, the weather outside and what day of the week it is.
In other words: It's a crapshoot.
I've seen a guy price match a Sony memory stick with CC without any questions asked, while seen other people argue till they are blue in the face without getting anything.

if i were in your shoes, Staples would be an easier pm. They tend to be easier going then FS, which is pretty tight. I remember pming a video card at FS, that was on sale at CC. I had to even bring in a print out that CC was an authorized retailer before they let me pm it.

Agreed.. I've had greatest success with PMing in this order:
Staples online (after I purchased), BB in-store (after purchase), Staples in-store (pre-purchase), FS (never got a PM from them, though I've tried ~4 times at the downtown Yonge location)

I just bought it at CC. FS just has a better return policy, but it wasnt worth it to argue.
Thanks everyone.

X-540 is 96$ plus 30$ rebate, I don't have the space for it anyways.

nah, FS or BB will not PM with CC, i tried to pm for ipod before which they say no (i was 1 day late on the flyer then FS jack the price up, prior it was same price as CC), and the associate will nag you saying giving deal on their accessories, so i decide to leave
so imo, if you gonna buy stuff with cash and you don't think you will return it, then go CC, silly FS, BB sales will bug you and you want to give a smack at their face, even though CC are prone to have poor customer rep, but at least they won't bug you ha

It's always completely YMMV everywhere really for PM's, depending on the CSR you get online/instore.
My advice, go in and try, if they say no, then you either argue if you really want it, or you spent 3 minutes asking and you go buy it at the original store.
