It seems that I'm carrying more and more stuff when I go out. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good fanny pack or something similar on a day to day bases..... I'm a guy btw...

Very few people can pull off a fanny pack. Depending on what you're carrying I'd suggest a small shoulder bag instead.

Ive been looking for one too...but not to rock on my waist, but over my shoulders. This will probably be used to carry my cell, wallet and possibly PSP...sucks not to have shorts with pockets

The fanny pack thing is not a current look. I suggest small backpack or shoulder bag. Unless you want to look like a geek or an old person avoid it!

I haven't seen any of those for sale in years. I rarely see anyone wearing fanny packs unless you're a tourist.

How about a messenger bag, like the first poster mentioned?
Squarish bag with long strap you can put over your shoulder, the bag will sit around your thigh.

If you prefer something near your back, get an over the shoulder messenger bag. http://gobackpacks.com/library/01e035gry_big_image.jpg

When I was in first year, I made fun of people wearing fanny packs. Now I feel like an idiot. :(

But yea, agreed with everyone else. Try and get something more like a shoulder bag that you can strap around your chest/torso.

Take a look at Mountain Equipment Co-Op for small bags. I also suggest you steer clear of fanny packs.

You can still buy "fanny packs".
I just bought one actually 2 weeks ago :)
But I only use it if I go bikeing or skiing as it looks too cheezy to yse everyday. The one I have also has a water bottle holder on the outsode and a reflective strip if you use it at night or for running- so maybe try the Running room as they might have something.

But I think for guys a messenger bag or canvas bag looks way better.
I think Walmart probably still has those patchwork leather fanny packs, I always see these people who play bingo wearing those on the bus, lol!

if the fanny pack is stylish, looks great on a guy.

some guys look good in those armyish print pack you can get in asian cheap store
some guys look hot in a MEC pack (starting from $10 i believe)
some guys look amazing in those gucci pack (while some look ridiculous)...
i just brought a waist pouch from gucci this week for $279 in a sale at the gucci store. Go take a look in that

I'm looking for something smaller... I'm not really looking for messenger bags since I have tons of those for school.
