My long distance provider is Telehop (not Bell nor Rogers) but i notice that they both have the gimmicy Network Charge that they apply to account holders.
My question, can one get a Home Phone for local use only while going with a separate LD provider (as i am) and "avoid" paying the Network Use Charge?
I notice that seem to be the case with Bell but with Rogers it appears that might not be true and might still have to pay a Network Charge even if i am not using them for LD.
