Hey guys...
Just got an Acer AL2216WBD 22" LCD monitor. This thing is the bomb, but unfortunately @ 1650x1050, I see this "flickering"/shimmering/whatchamacallit (strange Firefox doesn't highlight whatchamacallit as a spelling error)thing every time I move the mouse/a window around. Its most noticeable on the desktop with a lush background. Haven't noticed it in games and rarely in videos but gets annoying while reading documents on a white background.
Using my laptop as the primary engine atm. Will things get better when I use my 8800gts? :o Returning it seems impossible seeing how I bought this off ebay so live and let live I guess. Also if anyone has ideal settings for this thing, I'd appreciate it. Thanks :)
