Hi guys

1. How do I display the time metre when playing songs? (ie. if you're 2 minutes into the song, you see a bar with the time on it)

2. I for some reason have some mp3's where there are two overlapping names of the song that make it look somewhat illegible. What's wrong here?

3. Lastly, I can't get the songs to play in order. I have a set of 30 mp3's with long title but each numbered 1-30. I get them randomly showing up on my Ipod, and in addition to not being in order, 2 of them turn up in different albums. Any solution to rectify this problem?

Thanks

1) Press the center button when playing a song.
2 + 3) No idea.

2) Check the character set that the songs are named with

3) Make sure your ID3 tags are correct. iPod does not use filenames to sort the songs.

For q.3, can't you turn off the shuffle mode? Then they will not play randomly.

how do I check ID3 tags? Maybe that's why the songs don't sort out.

Kinda annoying since it makes it so hard to navigate on the Ipod esp. when you have to wait for the text to auto-scroll until you see the file number of that set of files, and esp. when each file is named a long name.

There are TONS of ID3 tag viewers. Have you even checked google?

the interface is one of the easiest to use, so long as your tags make sense. not sure i get what you mean by "file number".

another idea is to use a playlist.
