Nokia Phones - Is this normal?

See the ___ (underscore icon) at the top where the rest of the icons are, next to the clock? I don't remember seeing it before, but after changing my themes a few times, it appeared. Don't know if its a glitch or if its normally like that or if I can disable it somehow. Anyone know?

Its a Nokia 6265i for Telus.

Actually, I just posted on howardforums and asked, and people said its a common thing with this series of Nokia Phones, and that they put it there as filler for 'style' purposes...although I'd rather have it blank. Guess i'm stuck with it.

Yeah, its a common Nokia trait - my 6265i has that as well, and you'll notice it gets shorter/disappears when you have more icons appear.

yeah i noticed. btw, did you find out a way to get rid of the GPS icon?

I haven't tried really... The icons don't really interfere with the way I use my phone, so I left it alone.
