I'm in the market for a 37" lcd and I noticed the Dell W3707 is on sale for $1199? Is this a good tv? Or should I look elseware?

My budget is pretty much $1200, but I'm open to other suggestions, but the minimum size I was is 37".

I wouldn't personally buy the Dell because it's only a 768p screen, and for paying $1200 I'd definetly expect a 1080p.

This Westinghouse is a good deal.

Also, if you go to a bestbuy store they have the new W3 models on display. They just don't have them on your website yet.

yeah
resolution makes big differences.
I went to bestbuy the other day and take a peek at the $5000 sony with native resolution 1920 x 1080, it looks way better than the $2000 1366x768 resolution ones.

1080p isn't essential for a 37" screen in my opinion. If I were getting a 50" or larger, but I've seen 720p and 1080p on 37" and I can't really tell the difference.

There are media reports that Dell is getting out of the TV business.
