Ordered quite a lot of stuffs from them last time. Took forever for them to ship. Birks is pretty slow to update their site. Things could be sold out even it they are shown on their site.

The shipping is a bit slow. Not sure if the sale is online only, but last time I bought in a printout & got the 'sale price' in-store. The item wasn't even available in my local Birks, but they brought it in from another store.

Birks is indeed pricier, so I do appreciate these sales. GF's wishlist is pretty long and AFAIK, it's cheaper to buy it on sale :D Thanks OP!

Birks is way over-priced. Go to a small, independent jeweller and haggle with the owner and you'll get a much sweeter deal. There's huge markup on jewellry, 20-60% off signs are on practically every jewellers you see. Gimmick to get the suckers in.

I noticed that the site had a price adjustment yesterday .... price increase for some items.

I was looking into couple rings for my wife and saved a list of items in the shopping cart yesterday morning (I also printed out the list in shopping cart too so I do have proof). Last night when I checked on those items again, the price for certain items increase 10%+.

Mainly online (free s&h if u buy $200). You can try in store but YMMV.
