These prebuilt models aren't very good for upgrades, most are small form factor with limited resources available.

how would these computers fair on day to day work . we need to have a couple "shop computers" running 24/7 . all we really need is a bunch of p3's 800 mhz but also need stability .

most of those would have really old hard disks and cpu fans you may want to pop a new disk and fan in there but otherwise if they are clean they should last for years, those old pentiums are proven reliable.

Oh also those old pcs wont work with giant hard disks usually, they need the bottom line ones they sell today, like a 40, 60 80, 120 gig
