the vision W has pretty nice features but if you want portability and is willing to give up some screen real estate, the vision M is a better choice IMO. Still a nice price though.

it has a cf slot where you can dump cards. better than direct connection to a camera which kills both batteries

Unfortunately (or not depending on your view) not many new cameras use Compact Flash, so this is a bit limiting. They do make an SD adapter for it, but I had trouble finding one at a reasonable price in Canada.

Thanks. I was thinking about the one made by Creative specifically for the vision, but I suspect that this item would work as well.

For my laptop, I presume that I can put this device as well in my PCCard-CF adapter as well to read SD. And use the SD to micro SD adapter to read that final format :)

I got one, is much cheaper and smaller then the Creative vision and work just as good.

Weird, the coupon doesn't seem to work. For awhile it would say it was invalid and it wouldn't go through. But now it is accepted on the Digital Dollars page, but it doesn't show up near the end of the checkout. coupon COUPON25804202749427.

Any ideas? also, any other ways to drop the price other than gift cards?

I have a similar problem. The coupon works when I enter it, but it doesn't show on the checkout page and my total is calculated without the coupon discount as:
Product Total $299.99
Shipping $9.62
Provincial Sales Tax $24.77
Goods and Services Tax $18.58

Total: $352.96

Also, I selected the free ground shipping, but I'm still being charged the rate for expedited shipping. What a poorly designed website!

It's not weird. You've dug up an old thread with a coupon code that expired a month ago.

I bought this about half a year ago through Dell. Hands down, the best gadget I've bought. When I'm travelling for work, I watch it on the plane, then hook it up to the hotel TV to watch decent shows.

Amazing device, imo.

i have the 60gig version and can't live without it. 30 gigs is sufficient unless you like to store a lot of divx.
