No they didnt ask for ANYTHING...they just said your hired, start work tomorrow, THATS ALL...i keep asking for a login, a shirt, something to sign but nothing  I got my pay check 5 days LATE and its not even a pay stub its just a regular check but from CRAPPY TIRE...thats it...im so pissed at them, this isnt how you hire someone...
They didnt even ask for my banking info so they can pay me, thats why my payment was late and after talking to the person in charge of pay checks she still didnt ask me to come in so she can take my banking info so i can get my pay ontime next time...

I use to work at a Canadian Tire... It was so poorly run, I told them I was booking off May to study for exams, then never went back. I'm told I was still schedualed on the Weekly board until July! haha, and not once a singe phone call.
Then I went back 9 months later hoping to receive my 13% employee discount (which I had to give them my receipts, then they'd cut a cheque and sum it up - They refused to give it to me because I missed a date when I was on vacation - amount over $200+)
I was paid $6.60 for over a year and a bit, then come raise time, I got .30 cents. Had to fight the store manager to get a raise.
They hire underage 14 year olds to push carts, cash under the table..
Owner, Store Manager, and all the Managers were highschool graduates/drop outs at best, the employees themselves are usually quite smart. The lady I worked with had a ****ing Bsc. in Photon something in Poland, cant do **** here.
Quit. Besides, as a company, though they have a large net asset, they have a large expense of debt owing and a large investment in stock, with a relatively low turnover com paired to other box stores of the like. They're financial services from what I've seen seem decent. Still wouldn't sink money in em, Home depot has way better products anyways, better people.
Most Canadian tires are operated solely by an army of kids during peak shopping times, They don't give a **** to help no body.
Terrible place.

I agree. Also the age gap between the employees are just too great, like 15 y.o. working with 21 y.o. Although I know alot of the time, they work together just fine. In my friend's case, too fine. But I have heard that most of the time, they were have real difficulties working with one another.

if you need to work right beside someone who is the same age as you, or you can't do the job, the problem is you, not the job.
"they made him work with someone who was SIX years older than him! omg!"
lol
In life, you're going to have to work with some ******* you hate who's 55 years old at some point or another.
so CT wont let you work side by side with all your pals? lol
suck it up.

Somebody who's 21 will very likely be able to work with somebody who is 27 years old (a six year gap). It is the fact that one of the parties is still 15, widely considered to be still "immature".
