IIRC that number is a collection agency for Enbridge or Hydro ... I forget which one ...

If you haven't paid a bill for a while, they will call for weeks

Well then thats not it. I have no unpaid bills. And our utilites are all city based, so it would be the city calling me first

It could be a spoofed caller ID or even from a system like Skype (i.e. friend calling you)

From Skype i've seen (000) 000-000, and (012) 345-6789 show up on the caller ID.

possibly a mistake then?

but wouldnt they leave a message if it was a collection company or the city?...

Man up and answer it..

1. It's "shenanigans"

2. It's just some telespammer spoofing the number.

with a VOIP phone its trivial to spoof the caller ID, you can download the tools off the net.

It's funny because the first guy spelled it wrong and then everyone jumped on the bandwagon.

You will die in 999 days, weekends don't count, holidays don't count if its a stat. holiday, you can take 5 days off per year if you are sick, and also your birthday doesn't count unless it falls on a weekend or a holiday.

its an independnt rogers wireless telemarketer who tries to change you to a special price plan w/ agreement when you are already on a good EPP and on a contract already with a company MSD Code. They claim to have access to rogers system but dont. They also dont believe you when you tell them you know more than them, they have an indian accent, and they've been reported to rogers fraud department and have stopped calling since I reported them. Dont worry, just tell Binder to stop calling, he's already been reported for breaching telemarketing act of canada rules too for not giving a reference number, not having a call back number, and their call centre does nto allow for incoming calls, all of which are required.
