Where to find authentic Aztec/Mayan/Incan jewelry

Hey guys,

Anyone know where one can find authentic Aztec/Mayan/Incan jewelry? My friend's birthday is coming up and she's an anthropology major and I know she'd love something like that.

You could try a global goods store like 10,000 Villages. They would be replicas though. The only "authentic" Pre-Columbian jewelry is either in a museum or buried somewhere. They're priceless artifacts and wouldn't be worn by just any John or Jane Smith on the street!

There's a store in Kingston that imports stuff from Mexico that looks pretty neat. All silver. Must be something in the GTA like that.

WEll obviously I use "authentic" very liberally here, I don't mean like ancient aztec artifacts...I mean like real mexican jewelry, hand-crafted, etc....not that cheesy stuff made from lousy materials that will break after 5 min of wearing...
