first of all sorry if this is the wrong forum, feel free to move it to a more appropriate place if needed anyway..

I just found out I have a few days off and will be going to the canadian gp in montreal. Now from looking at the website http://www.grandprix.ca/index_en.html , 34 and 33 seem to be priced in the area of what I would be looking to spend. Which one in your opinion is the better one?

edit: I just phoned the ticket place from the website 1 514 350 0000 but the dude couldn't speak english, is there a phone number to order in english? If anyone is selling tickets i'm interested maybe. pm me

if the lay out is like the previous years i would take 33 over 34. Sure there is alot of action on the 34 U but if i remember right they dont have a big screen on that side. the 33 would most def have a screen near the grandstands.

last 2 years in a row i got 24's always the bigscreen placement should be a reason as well to pick up the tickets and placements.

If you just want to order tickets, go to admission.com

You should try calling that number again, maybe only that person couldnt speak English. I strongly believe CSRs should be bilingual.

I bought my tickets for section 34 :D

can also check out the F1 section at insider.speedtv.com
They have lots of guys that head over for the Montreal GP who would know the good seats from the bad.

I'd say 34 .. I've been to 33 and 31 because I couldn't get tickets for 34 ... they all have big screen TV's ...

You don't get a seat at any stand for general admission.
I think you get to stay in the grass area around the circuit (within set boundaries of course).

Speaking of the GP, I looked at the tickets for the Belgium GP and it's around $2000 all-inclusive. Not a bad deal! Spa's going to be great if it doesn't rain.

I guess I will call again tomorrow. Last year I sat at the starting grid and had alot of fun, everything was perfect, I just hope it does not rain.

I sat in 31 last year. I don't know between 33 or 34 wich I'd choose.

33 isn't where any passing happens, so for that reason alone, I'd probably go with 34, because there will surely be action at the hairpin there. It's where most of the big passing happens. There, and turn 1.

Sorry to hijack again. But does anyone remember near which stand do they allow the general admissions to stand. Is there some place near some bend?? The gradprix site says "arrive early to get the best vantage points". So where are these vantage points??

thanks

I would recommend just paying extra for grandstand seats. I tried general admission one year and ended up just buying grandstand seats from scalpers because it was very crowded and i couldn't see very much.

I just got off the phone, it looks like 34 is completely sold out so I ordered 33.
