View Full Version : Shipping Issues with FedEx

I have an issue with fedex and I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and maybe have a reason for it.

I ordered a refurbed ipod nano from apple on monday and payed for expedited shipping, they emailed me the next day saying it shipped and gave me a tracking number. This morning before I left for work I checked the tracking number and it said it was on the vehicle at 8:25AM in my city(Kelowna) waiting for delivery. So I came to work today and assumed it would be delivered to my house or if no one was home I would at least get a notice. I checked the tracking number again around 11 to see if it had been delivered and there was a new entree above the 8:25AM one at 10:17AM and it now says that my package is in transit in Vancouver and the estimated delivery date was changed from today to monday.

So I'm wondering if it even made it to Kelowna at all and it was just a glitch, because even though it says in transit right now it still shows at 8:25AM it was on a vehicle waiting for delivery.
Or for some weird reason they shipped it back to Vancouver(where it went through yesterday according to fedex), and if so why?

I emailed fedex and am still waiting for a response, I just want to see if anyone else has had this happen.

yeah turns out it was a glitch in their systems(unless I accidentily got shipped 2 nanos ;) ).
They did attempt a delivery today.
Does anyone know if fedex delivers on saturdays?

No, they don't. Fedex's tracking is really screwy, even they'll tell you that. Finally got my Mac ram! My overnight shipping only took three overnights. ;)

next time just call 1800-go-fedex

I've never had a problem with fedex for both home and work deliveries. Only time when Fedex screwed up, they actually called me and told me that they screwed up and it would be one day late. But I guess ON is a bit different than BC.

Purolator is another story though. Someone sent me a book via Purolator from Toronto to Ottawa, it's been delayed a wk so far, and today they finally called me asked for my address at work, trying to attempt delivery while bsing up excuses..
