So I bought a new pair of shoes, and noticed a small glob of glue stuck to the shoe where it shouldn't be in the store, then I get home, and notice the glue job was pretty shady (in my picky case) and you can see drops of glue on the shoe and on the outside (sole area, came out like it would with a piece of wood when not wiped off) where it shouldn't be.

My case is, these shoes have to last me 6 months, and will be my only pair. Do I deserve perfect shoes, since I spent $150.00 on them?

I know if I get them exchanged, they'll get mad, and in some cases employees take the worst product in the store and give it to you (happened recently with a Nike store).

So what do you think?

For $150 bucks, f*** yeah you should go and exchange that. Even if it were a $80 shoe I'd exchange. I'm going to get some Nike's for the same price as you and I will make sure to check before buying.

Just return the shoes (if they are unworn) and then buy them from another store if you care so much about what the employees think.

I have seen crappy gluing on gucci shoes...
Personally, I would just cut it off with a razor blade, unless you think it is going to compromise the integrity of the shoe.
