i want to buy stuff on hollister. ca, but it says that in canada customers need to pay duty and some other things themselves.
has anyone ever bought anything from the website? if someone has, how much is the duty and other stuff>???

Uh.. why not go to Hollister store and buy them?
Why waste shipping fees :S
Why wait till your items comes.

uhh i think its cuz he's in hamilton and the last time i checked...there isn't a hollister there...:| and travelling all the way to dt toronto is quite a mission just to get a couple articles of clothing

Never had to pay customs charges... in fact I just ordered something right now from their website. It says that you have to pay extra, but it is only $5 for the shipping costs... trust me, I order all the time :)

i myself dont have a credit card and therefore have to use my parents'. thats why i gotta make sure otherwise they will get mad at me. :D

BTW if you had to pay custom duties,you would not know right now ,you would have to pay for it when you get delivery (either to the courier company or canada Post).....

Sorry.... an extra $5... on top of their regular shipping charges.... so $5.75 + $5

I only ordered from there once. I ordered something for a friend and I believe they had to pay customs for the item.

Never have bought anything from the site but what I can tell you, you could always try e-bay...but watch out for the fake stuff there's plenty of that! :| Pretty crappy there's no Hollister in your area - I feel for you ;) Gonna check the link to see if there's any price difference on clothes hopefully its cheaper but I doubt it.

I bought something from the website once for a friend and he didn't mention that he got dinged any duties.
