Anyone confirm nationwide? Bought one for $2 at the Dollar store and it cut my hand while closing and fell apart the next day!

I don't see the Tote are any better. Mine broke after the first use, exchanged for a new one and no chance to use it yet.

Bought one last week for the same price...this is in GTA....havent had a chance to use it yet but quality seems just OK...i mean what would you expect for that price...though the regular price was advertised as ~10 $ if i remember correctly..

These are not the best quality umbrellas - but what do you expect for three dollars?

Last summer, I was going to the Burlington RibFest and it was pouring and very windy. About ten seconds after exiting my car the umbrella blew up - while the metal column snapped into two pieces and slit my hand wide open. That was fun, so just be careful about using these in windy conditions.

That stated, I did purchase another two this season. :cheesygri
