Just make sure your fan fits socket LGA775, if it does, no problems.

Think the OP means a 6600(GT) video card lol.
If you think you're still happy with the 6600 then just get a Zalman VF900 heatsink. That way you can upgrade any future cards you buy with it as well and keep your current one extra cool. :D

I am also not clear. Are you talking about the nvidia video card 6600? Or the Intel E6600 cpu? Haha.
What motherboard do you have?

I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about his video card. Also your video card's ram (whether it be GDDR2, GDDR3, or GDDR4) isn't the same as your system ram. You can use video cards with GDDR2 ram even if your system only supports DDR.

My bad. The processor was the first thing that came to mind.
