with the dollar at 90 cents i think its a hot deal if you were traveling down to say seattle for a week and could get the duty free on it.

Yes I use it all the time.

BTW, I like the Philips LCD's I've seen and that's a good price. The 32" model at costco stores in Canada was $1299 the last time I looked. Could be a bit cheaper now though.

Costco memberships are worldwide. However, keep in mind a lot of the stuff available online is not available in stores. And costco.com will not allow in store pick up, so you're left with whatever selection they have.

If you're an Albertan, do your shopping in Washington or Montana as all Albertans can shop tax free if you show them your drivers license in Washington. Montana is tax free period.

Another good thing about Costco is that anything bought at Costco can be brought back to any Costco, regardless of original purchase point (i.e. buy TV in US and return in Canada).
