Thanks to all who voted on last week's cool wall entry, the Pagani Zonda F Roadster. The Zonda takes its place as the latest entry in the sub-zero category of the cool wall;

This week's suggestion comes from RFD member Nuprapture. He suggested the Koenigsegg CCX, the newest Swedish supercar from Christian von Koenigsegg. There have been internet rumours that it may be the car for the K.I.T.T. movie coming out next year, but does that make it cool? You decide on the RFD Cool wall.

On a personal note, the Koenigsegg has been my favourite supercar since I first saw the CC8S online a couple years ago. I had the opportunity to finally see the CCR in person at the geneva motor show in 2006, what an incredible machine. I honestly think I would take one over a Veyron or Enzo. To me the Koenigsegg has this cool factor that blows both of them away. True it isn't the best looking car ever (that would go the Ferrari 355 F1 in red), but it's pretty high up there for me.

are you kidding? This car is a million times cooler than an f430 or 599 GTB. Rarer too, especially on this side of the ocean. You say you drive a ferrari, people have different reactions. You say you drive a Koenigsegg with 800+ HP, the reaction will either be WTF is that, or people's jaws will hit the floor.

Yeah the Koenigsegg CCXR (basically CCX converted to run on biofuel) has 1018 HP with potential top speed of 250+mph. Crazy!

Well I agree and I disagree....the 430 would be a much better car to drive on a day to basis with the amazing tranny and driveability....the CCR is an incredible track car, really for serious drivers (First two owners crashed them within weeks). I'd take a CCR, than something really nice for weekends, maybe a 430 spyder.
