Welcome to Scarborough. Sorry, but I'm not the only one thinking that.
18-Years old ... and you know what he was probably stabbed for? An iPod or cellphone or something as little as that ... really, really upsetting.
duckling.

knew someone who got jumped by like 5 people around kennedy station a few years ago..
5 asians on a white guy (his friend was running around for help)
over something trivial like this aquaintance of his gave "cuteye" to one of the asian guy's girls..
this stuff is hard to read, but when something of the similar "stereotype" happens to you... it's even harder. had some gangsters steal our family car a few days ago.. cops found it at like 2am a week after or so. found a bunch of KFC boxes (i swear to god), jewelry with price tags barely ripped off of them, rap CDs and a pot scale. what went missing.. our front bumper :|
whether these people are kids, immature, gangsters, whatever, it's so stupid and sad to watch this happen. but what's worse? half of them get away with it.
edit: sry wasnt trying to hijack the thread.. but just.. so stupid

Hah. I live in Scarborough and almost got beaten for a quarter one time on my way home. Good thing I was about a foot taller (I'm only 5'7, so....) than one of the dudes, and there were plenty of people around.

No, I meant a quarter of a dollar. If you wanted a recap
-Me walking home
Them: "Yo kid, you got a quarter?"
Me: "No, sorry"
- I start to walk away
- I get pushed from the back
Them: "Yo, I know you people have money with you."
- I keep walking
- I get pushed again
Them: "Yo, why you gotta disrespect me like that, MIDGET"
- I turn around, I look down at the tiny guy intimidating me
Me: "You want a bus ticket instead?"
- Cop cruiser drives by
Them: "Yo f*ck you. Whatever man"

I'm always afraid of taking my pda phone out at night, I use the Subway/RT from 10pm-11pm to get home. There are plenty of people around until the one last Mcowan stop where for about 3-4 minutes there's me and maybe 1-2 other people in the single car. I shouldn't worry too much though, I have an okay height of 6'1 so there's smaller people for thieves to take things from.

Based on your conversation, you can already tell what type of person that is.
