I was searching on google for the credit card article posted on redflagdeals and in the search result I have found this

http://www.assnat.qc.ca/fra/37Legislature2/DEBATS/journal/ci/061130.htm

Mrs. Smith (Catherine): Now, it is what one does. The status quo goes very well, now. If the world were perfect, there would be no error. But, if I can give you an example, week last, on Internet, at 3 a.m. of morning, because it is at 3 o'clock in the morning that the prices are put on the Internet, one put a television set plasma for 169 $; it was an error. Everyone knew that it was an error - those which saw that. One corrected the error in a 30 minutes space. In this 30 minutes space, there were the sites which are called, for example, Redflagdeals on the Internet then what is called the “cats”, then there it was: Did you see the site Best Buy? , it is an error, but go ahead quickly because it is an error, but one will test nevertheless.

LOL @ cats. He meant chats, as in forum discussions.

Anyway, she's not painting us in a very flattering light. Essentially, she implies we're all a bunch of crooked bastards taking advantage of known price errors.

Derek, I'd seriously consider suing.

edit: corrected gender. hskhan, if you have such a low opinion of us here, why don't you piss off?

Who are you fooling? If it talks like a crook...and if it looks like a crook...

She'll sue you for calling her a man.

she's not painting RFD in any kind of light. She's just stating a fact which is that people on this site and other chat rooms discussed the error and tried to buy it for a crazy low price.

Here's a non-professional (but non-babelfish like the poster above) translation:

Mrs Smith: As of now, this is what we do. The status quo works very well right now. In a perfect world, there would never be any mistakes. But, for example, last week, on our web site, at 3am, when we update our prices, we put a plasma TV at $169; this was obviously a mistake. We realized it was a mistake and fixed it within 30 minutes. But between those 30 minutes, websites such as Redflagdeals and other chat rooms were saying "Have you seen Best Buy's site? They made a mistake. Hurry up because it's obviously a mistake but let's try to buy it anyway"

of course the RFD'ers who have been here for a while will remember the dell axim fiasco, but in their case instead of fixing the error within 30 minutes, they left the price up the entire weekend before fixing it.

Knowing french actually came in handy today!
