Reliability Of Audi A6 2006

i found a pretty good deal on a audi a6 3.2L a6

but i've herd some crazy reliability problems with audi's

is this true???? or was that just a thing of the past??

Stop listening to so much hearsay, esp. on RFD. Go on the audi boards and find out.

Don't know much about the audi models, but it's hard to tell about long term reliability for a one year old car. The good thing is, it should still be under warranty, so if any major problems pop up, you're covered.

However, I would definitely try to figure out how much I'd be losing if faced with having to sell the car in 2 years, though (or the time the warranty expires), just in case the car doesn't live up to its expectations.

Audi is a really nice car!!!

i really think the only issue you will get is electrical problems.. but most should appear while the car is still in warranty.

i always think NA engine is best for reliability, and since itz the 3.2 V6. I personally don't think you will get any issues if maintained correctly =)

check NHTSA's site for any complaints related to A6 first =)

I know of an A6 that's about one year old. No problems whatsoever. Pretty impressive consider it's the first (second) year the new style was sold in Canada. I was expecting a little more problems but so far NONE.

Kudos to Audi for improving initial build quality, at least on the particular A6 I'm referring to.
