What car is the most comfortable/roomy? I rode in a old early 90s Buick Century the other day and it was like sitting on a couch! I could not believe how comfortable it was. Any other cars like that?

Anything Buick? Chevy Impala? The Chrysler LH cars? Cadillac DeVille? Mercury Grand Marquis/Lincoln Town Car, though the Town Car is floatier...
The wannabe-Buick Toyotas, e.g. Avalon?
People these days have gotten so brainwashed by "sport sedans" with their fancy "handling" and "cornering performance" and "supportive seats" with "bolsters" and whatnot that they can't appreciate a properly comfortable car anymore. *sigh*

If I may ask, how do you define "comfortable". It's rather subjective.
For me, i feel that having more leg room and not feeling squished in the back to be comfortable, and some people don't keep in mind that they don't have enough leg room possibly due to the fact that the front passenger or driver have their seats set back further than the average person.

I mean a comfortable car that you can go for a long road trip and walk out feeling refreshed. I also like to have leg room as I am fairly tall.

Given the OP's reference to a Buick (and an older one at that), he probably meant soft, flat seats, and a suspension tuned for a smooth ride...

Agreed. A seat that one person finds comfortable may be outright horrible to someone else. I'm sure there are extremes where something can be outright uncomfortable to pretty much anyone who is a human (lol) but there are situations where one thing is very comfortable to one person and completely uncomfortable to another.

This is variable and depends on the person. A fat person wouldn't be comfortable in a civic. A tiny person would be comfortable in a civic, but maybe not in a hummer.

I wish I had never sold my 82 Benz 380SEL.
Used to think I was sitting at 125 only to look down and realize 165. That was one comfy car.

If you are looking for comfy cars circa late 90's, check out the BMW 7 series. Especially the iL (Long Wheelbase models) and they can be had for quite a deal since they depreciate a lot.
