possible?

it expired a few days ago past the birthday date

wont be able to renew sticker till next week or so, have to pay for unpaid ticket + sticker renewal (no cash yet)...i know about the $110 fine for expired sticker as well, but read ontario is pretty lenient and i can probably get away with for the month of april till the april08 sticker is paid for

will they deny me at the border (going to usa from rainbow bridge) and any problems coming back to canada (same day crossing)

thanks

I wouldn't risk it. Who knows.

Either get it done and then go to the states, or wait to go to the states until you get it done.

YMMV... good luck.

USA Homeland Security won't give a rat's a** about your sticker. It's not their job to enforce Ontario HTA. Same goes for Canada Customs.

US customs wont give a care in the world, like above poster said.

Can't comment on Canada Customs though....cwb27, you around?

p.s. happy belated birthday

CBSA does not enforce the HTA... There's always a chance an officer might see it and comment on it, but it is not possible for them to perform any sort of enforcement action.
