In two weeks, my current car is going to be traded in for a new one. The stereo is coming out.

I am thinking of selling it for around $500.00, is this a fair price. Hoping stereo fans out there can help me.

it's a Pioneer AVHP6500DVD. It's in perfect condition. Also includes the XM module.

For such an old unit, even in mint condition you are asking too much. I would say about $200-250 dollars. Problem is, LCD DVD units have droped drastically in price and the screens are night and day better (transreflective etc).

I know it sucks, i had a 2001 Kenwood Excelon Z828, paid over $1000 for it and i felt like crying when i sold it to a friend (mint) for $200.....

Yeah, I agree with canuck, you'd be looking about $225 to get rid of it
