engineered hardwood floors

I was looking at some engineered hardwood floors. I have read that they can be installed with either nails , glue, or floated. Just wondering, is one method better suited for certain conditions??

Some applications are more suited to one type than others. For example, in a condo or basement where your sub-floor is concrete, nailing is not an option (unless you installed a sub-floor over the concrete you could nail into). I've heard that glue can be really messy to do.

So you will need to pick a floor with an install method that is suitable for your sub-floor.
