We moved a few months ago and our new apartment has no storage lockers. We have a lot of boxes I prefer to keep in case we move again -- box for 46" LCD TV, box for 24" LCD monitor, boxes for 5.1 speaker set and receiver, etc.

What do you guys do with all these type of boxes? I have no space for them in the apartment. I can't really flatten them all because the whole point is to keep all the protective packing materials. I've already tried combining all the packing stuff into the bigger boxes, flatting some of them and so on, but they still take up too much space.

I've never dealt with public storage facilities, are they worth using for this sort of thing? Any suggestions for one in Vancouver?

Well lets put it this way, how would 30 dollars a month sound to store some emtpy boxes? Its a tough dilema, personally I only kept a few boxes for the same reason, however for my HT gear I ditched all the packing materials and styrofoam as it would chew up way to much space. When I moved across the country I used many towels, blankets, air packs and crumpled up newspaper and nothing was damaged. I just keep flattened boxes as needed. Filler is readily available.
