Enersource is having a Water Heater Tune-Up program for families in single family dwellings - They will send a "team of trained staff" to your home and install and equip your house (owned or rented doesn't matter according to the ad) with FREE stuff including:
an insulated water heater blanket,
low-flow showerheads,
aerators,
pipe insulation and
compact fluorescent light bulbs.

Sounds like at least $100 or $200 of free stuff plus they install it! But ONLY if you live in MISSISSAUGA!

According to the ad, they will install compact fluorescent lights too ...? Would they replace all the bulbs around the house? :cheesygri

It says "Do you have an electric water heater? If so call to schedule a free water heater tune up."

Our team will visit your home to install
or provide, free of charge:
• Water Heater Blanket
• Pipe Wrap
• Energy Efficient Shower Head
• Compact Fluorescent Lights
• Faucet Aerator

What if you have a gas water heater? Are the other services available I wonder?

Enersource is Hydro Mississauga - the city of Mississauga has their own hydro power company. Quite a few cities do this, when we lived in Vancouver I worked in New Westminster BC and they have their own city hydro, not BC Hydro. So the funding is thru the Hydro company, that's who sponsors it.
