Maybe impressive compared to the regular prices they have.... You can easily find cheaper CPUs at places like Canadacomputers.

Looks like I'm going to go for the x2 3600+ since I don't think the x2 3800+ will be noticeably faster.

$102.95*1.14 = 117.36
$107.75*1.06 = 114.22

Fact is "very impressive discounts" is all relative.
