"I may have a small dick, but I have 8 cores in my system!"

Now, if you're going to use a number like that, explain to all those that see the number and choke what is included.

(I highly doubt too many on this board would be maxing out the computer to that level)

6ghz

If you're serious, I envy you. Even the dual core xeons are fast like a bat out of hell.

I love Macs, but I hate the prices.

Octo Core. Sounds cool.

Actually, they're just slapping in 2 quad cores. That doesn't count.

Thank you so much for providing this.

Well the thing is that the Cloverton processor is not even launched yet...so these are obviously back-orders.

And sorry, that CPU will look much better in a non-Apple case running non-Apple software.

Is that a Mac Fanboy starting to embrace Intel now? :D
I agree with the others here, it's not really 8-core when it's a dual processor machine.

Wow...$20,000? What a rip off! For $20,000 you can build a much better dual quad-core machine. People who buy this thing are ********.

I play with the apple store website sometimes and the maxed out configuration is about 20k, though it comes with 16 gb of ram, 2 30'inch display, and dual quadro's i believe, sure its pricy but if you really need a uber workstation with 16 gb of ram, then it might work :P

From an investment standpoint, this is a very bad investment indeed. The prices are going to depreciate to $3000 by the time 16 core comes out, and to $1500 by the time 32 core comes out. We all know that won't be long from now...

Mac's are useless.

Even if the machine itself is powerful, you can't do anything on it.
